ITI Technical College offers a 24-month Information Technology (AOS) Degree. Teaching methods extensive use of hands-on training, demonstrations, troubleshooting, and lectures. Studies are individualized and progress is monitored with assignments, quizzes, and laboratory evaluations.
Students begin with an introduction and overview of Information Systems Technology. Students will become familiar with the scope of the Information Technology Industry and the software and hardware tools used in this fast-growing field. Students will be exposed to core courses in Mathematics review, PC Office Applications, Success Skills, and Introductory courses in Networking and Programming. These courses will help the student decide which of the two specializations they would like to pursue.
Students will have an understanding of hardware, software, organizational environments and networking systems applications as well as being able to communicate effectively.
Students will be able to use problem-solving skills and techniques as they apply to the current trends in technology, tools and languages, and their uses in application development.
