The Student Services Department is here to help the students with any problems that may occur causing a disruption in their education. Student Services is available to direct you to the department that can best serve your needs. The Student Services Department is a friend genuinely interested in the welfare of the student body. Services Offered

Advisement

Students needing assistance regarding jury duty, insurance discounts for good grades, verification of full-time student status, military training, or any other special circumstance should contact the Student Services Department for help. Students requiring specific aids or accommodations due to a physical or learning impairment should discuss these issues with an admissions representative prior to enrollment and inform the Student Services Department upon enrollment.

Concerns and Grievance

Satisfaction of our students and graduates is vitally important to ITI. Students are to feel free to speak with the Student Services Department regarding any concerns or complaints.

Learning Resources

ITI maintains a Learning Resource Center with a study area containing technical books and audiovisual materials available for check-out or viewing. Books can be checked out for a seven-day period. The library is open Monday through Wednesday from 7:30 AM until 8:00 PM and Thursday from 7:30 AM until 6:00 PM and on Friday from 7:30 AM until 4:30 PM when classes are in session. (Hours may very during holidays and student breaks).

Program Transfers

Students who wish to change from one program of study to another should contact the Student Services Department. Program Transfer fees will be charged if the transfer occurs after the student’s first term at ITI. Schedule Change

Substance Abuse

Information and referral to counseling may be obtained from the Student Services Department.

Tutoring

Special study sessions and tutoring is available in the Learning Resource Center from 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday when classes are in session. (Hours may very during holidays and student breaks).

Withdrawing
