ITI Employment Opportunities:

Air Conditioning Technician Trainer for Full-Time and Part-Time

 

We are looking for a seasoned technician who enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience with the next generation. No prior teaching experience is required. Salary depends on experience.

You will train students through classroom instruction and hands-on lab exercises. You will also be teaching and mentoring students to do installations, service calls, and repairs on heating and cooling systems using the employer/college curriculum.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach courses within the curriculum of AC to install new heating, ventilation air conditioning systemss
  • How to Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements
  • How to Perform Routine Preventative Maintenance
  • How to Respond to Emergency Maintenance Requests
  • How to Adhere to all safety policies and procedurest

Qualifications:

  • Certificate or Associate Degree in HVACR or related field;
  • Must have a minimum of four (4) years of previous experience in:
  • HVAC or other related fields
  • Knowledgeable with HVAC wiring diagrams
  • Knowledgeable with installing and repairing systems diagnostics
  • Mentor students to have strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

Work Schedule:

Classes are taught on Mornings from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm; and Evenings from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Instrument Controls Trainer

 

We are seeking an Instrumentation Controls Trainer to join our team! You will be instructing in a classroom environment for Industrial Instrument Control Systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Train students on automated industrial systems and processes
  • Teach the installation and support of both mechanical and instrument controls and upgrades
  • Education about the implementation of new equipment and control systems
  • Facilitate the learning of the design and use of smart devices
  • Demonstrate with a working knowledge basic instrumentation principles, their digital circuitry, or other working knowledge frequently used in the industrial instrument environment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in industrial instrumentation, industrial electrical, automation engineering or other related fields
  • Familiarity with intelligent and industrial systems (Smart system, TDC, Foxboro, others)
  • Familiarity with component level lab settings, basic electricity
  • Familiarity with pressure, level, temperature or hydraulics a plus
  • Strong background in industrial electrical safety a plus

Process Operations Controls Trainer

 

We are seeking a Process Technology Operations Controls Trainer to join our team! You will be instructing in a classroom environment for Process Technology.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Train students on automated industrial process systems
  • Teach the inner workings of both mechanical equipment and instrumentation equipment used to manufacture product.
  • Education about the implementation of mechanical and fluid dynamics.
  • Facilitate the learning of the design and use of software based systems to control the flow.
  • Demonstrate with a working knowledge basic instrument back manufacturing principles, and working knowledge frequently used in the industrial process environment.
  • Previous experience in process technology, process operations, automation engineering or other related fields
  • Familiarity with intelligent and industrial software systems
  • Familiarity with component level lab settings
  • Familiarity with pressure, level, temperature, flow, and fluid dynamics a plus
  • Strong background in refinery, chemical or manufacturing operations

We are seeking a Computer Network Trainer to join our team! You will be instructing in a classroom environment for Process Technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach courses within the curriculum of the networking on subjects like:
  • -Networking Concepts
  • -SQL Database
  • -A+ Experience
  • -Cisco Products
  • -Microsoft Products and Technologies
  • How to recognize and troubleshoot network & system issues.
  • How to monitor active network and server infrastructure.
  • How to perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Learn and understand Computer A+.
  • How to execute sensitive data backup and restoration procedures
  • Understanding technical procedures and user guides

Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of four (4) years experience in a networking environment.
  • Proof to training.
  • Formal education (Associate’s Degree or higher.
  • Industry based certifications.
  • Strong background in refinery, chemical or manufacturing operations
