Hands-On Opportunities

Here at ITI we pride ourselves on preparing our students with the skills required to achieve success in their chosen field.

Volunteer

Volunteer opportunities are a great way for students to get hands-on experience in a chosen career field. Volunteers do not get paid, but do learn new skills that can be valuable to a new career or job path. In addition to the hands-on experience to compliment classroom learning; volunteer work will allow you to enhance your resume and make valuable connections with others in your chosen industry.

Internships

Internships are another important way to gain hands on experience in your chosen profession. That is why the Network Administration Department utilizes the Federal College Work Study Program to provide Internship positions to those students that qualify*. In the FWS program you will be given the opportunity to work around the ITI Campus learning basic to mid level troubleshooting skills, hardware and software installation, ethernet wiring, and basic network support.”

To inquire about current volunteer or internship opportunities Please submit this Network Support Request Form to our Network Administration Department.

*Qualification is determined by the Department of Financial Aid
