A Time to Remember and Thank Veterans on Vietnam War’s 50th Anniversary
March 29, 2023 the nation recognizes National Vietnam War Veterans Day. This day marks the 50th anniversary since the end of US involvement in the Vietnam War. To support this service and sacrifice, you can encourage the Veteran(s) in your life to take advantage of VA benefits they have earned and deserve.
Vietnam Veterans may be eligible for expanded VA disability compensation under the PACT Act, a law passed in 2022 which increases access to VA benefits and health care for Veterans exposed to toxic substances during their military service.
Veterans Invited to Discuss the Human Impact of Military Service at The War Horse Symposium
Veterans and their families are invited to join The War Horse Symposium on April 6 for a day-long convening. Members of the public will discuss the human impact of military service with journalists, scholars, and senior government officials at the Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs.

More than 400 Veterans Attend Winter Sports Clinic in Colorado
Did you know that in 1987 VA hosted the first winter sports clinic for 90 Veterans? Since then, nearly 10,000 Veterans have skied the slopes of Snowmass, Colorado. Today, Veterans can continue to learn to ski at the National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic with the help of recreation therapists at VA facilities nationwide.
