VA Life Insurance

Federal Grants Update and it’s affect on VA Programs and Services
In response to the Office of Management and Budget’s Jan. 27 memo (M-25-13), we have determined that all 44 of VA’s financial assistance programs will continue uninterrupted and that all programs and operations will continue uninterrupted.
“This will have no impact on VA health care, benefits or beneficiaries,” said Acting VA Secretary Todd Hunter.

Sign-in Changes
Signing in to VA.gov, VA Apps and other VA online services may have looked a little different this week.
You now have two sign-in account options: a Login.gov or ID.me account. Veterans can use their account to sign in to VA.gov, VA apps and any other VA online service they use to manage their VA benefits and care. Learn more about this change.

Education Benefits for Survivors
If you’re the child or spouse of a Veteran or service member who has died, is captured or missing, or is rated permanently and totally disabled, you may be able to get help paying for school or job training through the Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance (DEA) program, also called Chapter 35.
